Originally the firm was known as R.A. Lawson & Co until the name was changed to Lawson Jones & Fulton and then Lawson Jones and now is known as Ron Lawson & Associates Lawyers.

The firm has always been known for its attention to personal style, whether dealing with individuals or business owners.

Today the firm has Ron Lawson as principal, support staff between the Albany Creek and Russell Island offices .
